Sneak preview 2011

This time of the year our marketing department is working very hard on the new 2011 catalogue.
The catalogue will be launched on September 1st. We’ll be adding quite a few new models to our range. The catalogue and the range will be presented at Eurobike from 1-4 September.
The main new models will mainly be in our aero road range as well as triathlon, incorporating our R-flow patented technologies (more explanation on www.TheFastestBikeInTheWorld.com )
One of the new models will be our Dean RS triathlon bike, which features more comfortable tri specific geometry. Here you can see a sneak preview of the Dean RS
With Rutger Beke winning the Iron Man in Mexico on his Ridley Dean earlier this year, we are working very hard to help him win Hawaii.
Besides the new aero models there will be a new Ridley cross bike (the world champion Stybar bike), some very interesting fitness bikes, … and many more … but I guess I have to stop revealing stuff now ;)

  3. Unfortunately the “prototype” Ridley Dean RS looks pretty much like every other TT/Triathlon bike out in the market place. Is the removable seat post for traveling purposes mainly for airline bags? I really liked my Ridley Dean (before it was totaled) but one thing, the bike flexed way too much especially since I had the XL frame and I’m 6’4” which then caused a lot of lost acceleration on TT start-ups. I just built up a new XL Helium 2008.5 which is rock solid stiff…if only the Dean was like this.

  4. How do i contact someone from Ridley ? i have sent numerous messages via their own contact us page on the website but no one ever replies, it's very frustrating, as i just want to speak to someone regarding a bike i purchased, i'm in Glasgow, Scotland, and i can't get any contact info from anyone.

  5. Your best bet is to contact the shop you bought your bike from if it is an issue with the bike

  8. Sorry but I think the RS is looking ugly, no way on earth will I be changing my Dean for the Dean RS

As for transporting the Dean, cases are available for all size bikes with ISP's.

  10. The Dean RS is developed with another style of riding in mind that its big brother the Dean.
The Dean remains our top TT/Tri bike whilst the Dean RS will be more affordable bike with a completely new geometry.

Compared to the Dean, the Dean Rs has a steeper seat angle, a shorter top tube and a longer head tube. The bike allows the rider to maintain a more comfortable riding position for a long period of time.
Furthermore the seatpost will allow the user to set up 3 different seat angles.
The Dean RS will be sold with both the patented R-flow fork and R- surface technology.

Hope this explains the idea behind the bike.

    Cheers,

    Yannick
